Walking

Situated at the foot of the Berkshire downs and only a very short distance from the Ridgeway The Red Lion is perfectly situated for a weekend of walking. There are some great walks available on the web and in books, some can be found here:

Sight Seeing

There are many places of interest for the tourist in the local area. From The Railway Centre at Didcot to the many National Trust properties in the area, Priory Cottages, Basildon Park and Greys Court are all a short drive away from us.

Slightly further afield you can visit Blenheim Palace, and historic Oxford.
